A strong performance on the penultimate day of the ETF26 SERIES event on now in Los Alcazares, Spain sees Live Ocean Racing shift up to 5th on the leaderboard.

Liv Mackay and the young and talented New Zealand team put a 12-point buffer on Toroa in 6th and brought themselves within reach of 4th place, just 3 back from FIN1 Racing.

Ma Menor bay produced stunning conditions for the seven-boat fleet racing in Spain, and another five short course races were sailed.

"We had glamour conditions," reports Mackay. "With 2-3 knots more than we've had, it was all reaching starts, and full foiling conditions which was really fun."

Live Ocean Racing is in 5th place going into the final day of the regatta, and the season, after putting in their best day of the regatta yet. Starting with a 2nd, they went on to back that up with a 4th, 5th, 4th and a 3rd.

"It was super tight racing again... definitely the best we've had all year. It brings another dynamic into it, so much more tactical which is good," says Mackay reflecting on the competition across the five-regatta series.

Entreprises du Morbihan were untouchable today with a clean card on five race wins from five races, extending their lead on the fleet. Behind them is TeamPro, with Blue Shift Racing.

Racing resumes tomorrow for the final day of the regatta. The schedule is for two short course windward leeward races and one short coastal race - if wind allows. The forecast is for similar conditions.
