Live Ocean Racing lies fifth overall in the series standings after their second event of the EFT26 Grand Prix circuit, in Quiberon, Brittany.

Five short races were sailed on the third and final day of racing in Quiberon as part of the Eurocat ETF26 Grand Prix. After Saturday's third place finish in the Grand Raid, a 24-mile coastal race the eight boat ETF26 fleet were back to 30min shorter races.

The team achieved a podium place in two of the five races as follows:

  • Race 1: 5th
  • Race 2: 5th
  • Race 3: 3rd
  • Race 4: 4th
  • Race 5: 3rd

Live Ocean Racing was skippered by Liv Mackay with Leonard Takahashi and Marcus Hansen.

“We had good speeds today but still had a few struggles on the starts. I’m really happy with all the learnings from today, it was our first day racing with the reef and different conditions so it felt like we were really fast which was exciting,” Liv Mackay reported.

Currently still sitting in 5th. The third event is Raid Quiberon on 4-6 June, which will be followed by Foiling Week at Lake Garda.
