Marinas 2011 brochure now available

'Marina Industries Association of Australia'    Marina Industries Association of Australia (MIAA)

The Marinas 2011 full conference brochure has just been released. The six page brochure provides an outline of the keynote speakers, summarizes two day conference program, the exhibition and trade show, the field trip and the partners program.

Melbourne highlights and venue and accommodation details are also included.

Two of the Keynote Speakers are Gary Groenewold, Vice President, Westrec Marinas and Lyndall De Marco, Adjunct Professor, Griffith University Centre for Tourism, Sport and Service Information.

Westrec Marinas is considered one of the most comprehensive and authoritative sources of marina operating information in the business. Gary heads operations, business development and acquisitions for Westrec Marinas throughout Florida, the Caribbean and South and Central America.

For the last 15 years, Gary Groenewold has worked on many marina development and consulting projects, with first-hand involvement in design, construction and operation of marina facilities. One of Marinas 2009's most popular presenters, Gary will again share his vast experience.

One of the hospitality industry's most prominent advocates for implementing sustainable business practices, Lyndall De Marco is an experienced hotelier, former Executive Director of the International Tourism Partnership, a consultant and researcher.

The world of tourism is increasingly aware of the need to offer eco credentials and to brand products accordingly. This segment will highlight successful operations that have transitioned to a 'green brand' and how it translates to a business benefit.
