VMR Southport and Icom Australia sponsorship

Icom (Australia) were contacted by Volunteer Marine Rescue Southport (VMR Southport) to help the organisation with their radio needs for a new boat.
This organisation provides a 24-hour listening watch on all emergency and general marine radio frequencies. They have approximately 35 members who operate the Gold Coast Seaway Tower. Annually there are thousands of vessels who contact VMR Southport to log journey details, request weather and tidal information, and to source any information on Seaway conditions and associated navigation hazards.
We were more than able to help with a couple of IC-M423GB mobile radios for their new boats.
