After undergoing final clear coats and receiving her Palm Beach Towers hard-top in mid-May, Tarheel (Bayliss 62') emerged from the paint bay looking like a finished boat.
Tarheel also received her transom paint last month, courtesy of Everett Nautical. Our paint crew will focus on applying her waterline and bottom paint over the next couple of weeks.
In Tarheel's interior, the teak salon valences have been installed, the faux-teak salon door is on its tracks, and teak shower doors have been hung in both heads. Our interior carpentry crew is now turning their focus to the installation of the custom TV lift in the salon, granite countertops in the galley, and her teak companionway stairs.
Over the course of the next couple of weeks, Custom Marine Electronics will complete all electronic installations within Tarheel's flybridge console. Our mechanical department has set the bow thruster, salon air handlers and installed the sea chest.
She's nearly ready for her sea trial in early June!
