The Marina Industries Association is pleased to announce that Petrolink Engineering has committed to a two year MIA partnership aligned with the International Clean Marina Program. Petrolink Engineering join WA based Oleology as program partners.
Petrolink has been actively involved with the marina industry since the early 1990s and as a long-term MIA member. Petrolink Engineering's Managing Director Barry Boné said "we are proud to further our involvement with the MIA and marina industry with our partnership linked to the Clean Marina Program".
"Our focus is to assist marina management with safety and compliance services with regard to fuel storage and delivery, dangerous goods management and infrastructure protection. Environments surrounding marinas are complex and fragile and we are here to support marina owners and operators with their duty of care," he added. The company has also expanded into electrical and wastewater services as well as pontoon maintenance.
MIA Chairman Andrew Chapman thanked Petrolink for their increased support for MIA and for the Clean Marina Program. "Clearly Petrolink understand the importance of industry self-regulation. Petrolink services and values are a logical fit with the Clean Marina Program. The additional support from Petrolink will assist MIA in its quest to continually improve our support for the development of industry environmental practices and the provision of environmental leadership within local communities".
Petrolink also works with Standards Australia and organisations such as SafeWork as accredited consultants when developing policies and guidelines for the marina and fuel (UPSS) industries.
