Cheers James, yes I know, I was just being hopeful that there might be some new ones to view on a dull day at work!

Have just had a peek at IOSSC you have a very clear view from your camera! I love the look in the gulls eye! - yes it's that clear !!!!

What area is the camera pointing at, at night you can see lights in the distance....where are they? I have seen a few big ships pass but sadly no dinghys. must view this site at weekends, thats when they come out to play.

Cheers again

Hahaha glad you like it and funny when the camera does manage to catch the odd gull in mid-flight as it did this morning:

And no that's not a photoshop

The view is from Sheerness looking over the mouth of the Thames Estuary towards Southend.

That's what the lights in the distance are at night - the bright lights of Southend! Y&Y's office is over there somewhere (probably to the middle of the picture).

That makes me smile James,  I lived not far from Southend (Little Wakering) and spent most of my summer days at southend - a short bike ride away. Still get to go there as Mum is still in the area.

I have walked past the Y+Y HQ many times!

Next time I am there, I will look across the water and gice IOSSC a wave!

By the way have you noticed what a good sailing venue it is.  I'm staggered it isn't more popular.  I used to sail there for about 10 years and I've done about 15 round Sheppey races.  Do you know they didn't choose it for the Olympic bid?

Has anyone else been watching Ellen McArthur's webcam? It doesn't seem to get updated very often but some of the veiws of the boat are awesome.

Hi Headfry,

it is www.teamellen.com, and then there is a link to the cam from the toolbar.

Be warned, the site is spectacularly slow at the moment (but that might just be the firewall where I work)
