Sad, saw it in action at Weymoth in the late seventys, early eighties, these guys. dying breed we'll not seee the like again. RIP

In the 1980s I had a speed sailing Proa (slightly egging the pudding) and I wrote to Sir Tim asking sponsorship. I received a lovely hand written letter declining but wishing me luck, total gent and an inspiration.
