Not sure where else on the forum that this can be posted so I thought I would post it here

I am off to Weymouth this weekend for squad training. In the past I have taken a motorhome or camped but given the time of year I thought I would try and find some accommodation which proved to be more difficult than I thought.

Is it possible to have  a section on the forum where people can recommend or invite information on the best places to stay at a given sailing venue? I am sure I am not the only one who finds it difficult to find decent board especially in an area that they have not stayed at before.

Just a thought. May upset some of the B & B houses in some parts of the country but may be a useful tool when looking for accommodation

Stayed here www.boscawenhouse.co.uk in Weymouth recently, as a large group. Kind of run down, but fairly cheap for the area. YHA next door, too.

Have you got somewhere to stay now? If you just want a bed and want it to be cheap I always use Boscawen house.

Just a bit puzzled why you don't take the Motorhome and stay on site?

Thanks for the replies

First of all it is November and thus the reason for not staying in the motorhome. More so now I have seen the forecast so thus the reason to stay somewhere which is built of brick

I ended up booking into a Premier in in Weymouth just through ease of booking but there is squad training again in December so I will try some of the suggestions.

Given I am only going as support capacity I was hoping I could find somewhere to sit, log onto my computer to catch up on emails and watch the youth squad get wet while I sit in the warm and comfort.

Still think this thread is a good idea though.
