PIMEX promises 'new exhibitors bringing new and exciting products'

As Phuket hots up so too does PIMEX. The island is showing strong tourism numbers with airport arrivals continuing on the up. Hotels and resorts reported high occupancies over Christmas and New Year and forward bookings are looking to be some of the best yet.

The marine scene in Asia is going into overdrive having finished 2012 with the Phuket King's Cup Regatta, 2013 kicked -off with the Royal Langkawi International Regatta, the Singapore Straits Regatta is underway and Phuket's most fun sailing event, the Bay Regatta, set sail earlier today (31 January). The regional boat show seasons begins with PIMEX - Asia’s favourite boat show - on 21 March. Recent additions to the line-up at PIMEX are a number of new and returning exhibitors bringing new and exciting products to the market.

Aquariva Super 33. More than any other model, this 33 footer testifies to Riva’s natural style evolution over the years. This model has been developed by the designers of Officina Italiana Design, the exclusive designer of all the yachts in the Riva range, in association with AYT – Advanced Yacht Technology – Ferretti Group's naval research and design centre, and the team of architects and designers of Centro Stile Ferretti Group.



For the first time in Asia, Da Vinci Yachts will display their range of boats from 29 to 38 ft. Da Vinci Yachts in Sneek, Holland, is one of the leading shipyards for retro-modern motoryachts in Europe. Since 2002 Da Vinci Yachts has stood for innovative Dutch craftsmanship, durability, and exclusivity. From the very first sketches to the finest detailing onboard, each Da Vinci is design and craftsmanship in its truest form.

Siam Royal View has added outstanding marina facilities to its award winning Koh Chang resort property venture. The luxury development now boasts a state-of-the-art marina, which finally opens the attractive eastern part of Thailand’s Gulf up to yachtsmen. Currently one of only two professional marinas in the Gulf of Thailand, it stands alone within a 200km radius in offering first class boat mooring facilities.

Krabi Boat Lagoon opened in 2011. The first premier marina complex in Krabi, they will be exhibiting in the Hall at PIMEX 2013. Krabi has become a marine hub and is the gateway to nearby islands such as Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, Koh Kai and Koh Rok - all absolutely ideal for swimming, snorkeling and diving.
