NorthStar RIBs will make its Australian debut at the Hillarys Boat, Dive and Fishing Show 15-17 March 2013, exhibited by exclusive importer Sevaris Marine.

Providing a snapshot of the comprehensive NorthStar range, the 640 RW, 550 RX and 405 LS will be on display at the event, with some special show-only packages on offer to boat show visitors.

Sevaris Marine principal Matt Sevior said he was looking forward to gauging the public’s reaction to the country’s newest RIB brand.

'NorthStar RIBs are built in relatively small volume, albeit to world-leading standards,' Mr Sevior said.

'Differentiating itself from other RIB brands and ensuring quality control at every stage of the process, NorthStar makes and assembles all major components in-house… vacuum infusion or resin transfer moulding [RTM] technologies deliver exceptionally strong yet lightweight fibreglass components and only Hypalon material is used for the tubes.

'The result is boats of absolute quality and precision… and this is the reason why NorthStar has been chosen to manufacture hundreds of RIBs for marine safety and military organisations around the world.'

There are eight production series under the NorthStar brand, ranging from the entry-level T Series tenders, to the fully-customisable OP Series, right up to the flagship RS Series ocean-going cabin Sevaris Marine

Fractional Ownership of Superyachts - revisited
“He knows the Aman junkie kind of crowd like no other. If there’s anyone who can do this, it’s Zecha.” “In Asia, people are starting to look at yachting, but not in the same way as the Russians in the 90s with those massive mansions at sea. Asians want the exclusivity, privacy and security without breaking the bank. We know the rich Asian millennials from Hong Kong, China and Southeast Asia are starting to buy yachts this size from Feadship but... 'What do I do with it now?”

The Darwinism of Boat Shows
Maslow's Hierarchy afloat My father owned a boat before he owned a car. My first boating trip was on board a converted Chinese junk named The Three Coins. My clearly brave mother allowed my father to take us all out for the day onto Hong Kong Harbour. I was 10 days old. On that day, a small part of my father’s passion for the sea and everything boating passed to me.
