New Expo has it all in sports boats and PWCs
|
Melbourne has a great new boat show that will put the very best of sports boats and PWCs front and centre at Melbourne’s iconic Royal Exhibition Building. The Club Marine Sports Boat & PWC Expo promises three big days – 21-23 September – of the latest in wakeboard and ski boats, PWCs, family sports boats and all the gear that goes with them. All the big names will be there, with top-end sports boats from Nautique, Malibu and Mastercraft, ski and wake boats from Skicraft and Rolco, and family sports all-rounders from Four Winns, Bayliner and Glastron. September is the perfect time to 'Gear up for Summer' – to order that new boat, upgrade your existing boat, or get all the best gear for summer fun on the water. If it’s time for that PWC you’ve been promising yourself, you’ll find Kawasaki, Sea-Doo and Yamaha with models of every size and price. Club Marine state manager for Victoria, Ross Lambrick, said it was a perfect fit for Club Marine to back a show that had such a big and growing audience.
'It’s part of our commitment of giving back to the boating community and supporting the industry wherever we can,' he said. 'We’ve seen massive growth in skiing and wakeboarding, and in families getting into sports runabouts that cater for tow sports, cruising and just generally having fun on the water. 'Especially now that our inland waterways are full again, families are really taking to this kind of boating. 'Whether they are at the high-excitement end of a tow-rope, kicking back aboard the boat or even watching from the shore, it’s unbeatable family fun.' Admission is just $15 for adults, $10 concession, and free for children 15 and under (when accompanied by an adult) – tickets at the door or online. The Club Marine Sports Boat & PWC Expo runs from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 September, and is open from 12 noon to 9pm Friday, 10am to 9pm Saturday, and 10am to 6pm Sunday. More at www.theboatexpo.com.au
