Marina Revolution - innovative design offers vast improvement
|
Renowned architect and multi award winning designer Mark Fraser recently put his mind into improving Marina Design and has produced an incredibly simple new design for Marinas that is set to revolutionize Marinas worldwide. Described as a 'Game Changer' and welcomed by many Yachtsmen, Marina Managers and Boaties for its ease of maneuvering boats Mark’s design also incredibly permits 30-40% more berths to be housed within the same area or for existing Marinas to be easily and simply reconfigured to provide the same number of existing berths but with each berth being at least 50% longer in length. He says with reconfigurations in most cases his design works without changing or moving existing piles and the cost to upgrade is minimal. Mark an experienced sailor said he decided to change Marina design because most damage occurs to boats either while they are berthed or being berthed by inexperienced (and experienced!) skippers dealing with tides, wind and tight confines under low or no power. He said having visited the tightly packed Marinas in the Mediterranean and USA he felt despite the current situation of the Marine industry there was a strong market with good opportunities to increase revenue and Marina value by using his design and he is currently designing new Marinas in Brazil and Turkey. He has also lodged design registrations and patent applications for his unique design. After looking at his design and knowing Mark since we started here at Marine Auctions over 10 years ago and his impressive track record of success worldwide from design led solutions with his other projects – all of which are game changers with a sense of commercial reality we at Marine Auctions are delighted to be promoting this initiative within Australia. If you have demand for larger berths, for more berths or you’re maybe thinking about developing a Marina and wish to match the Marinas of the future then call Adrian from Marine Auctions on +61 (0418) 783 358 or email, adrian@marineauctions.com.au and we will put you directly in touch with Mark.
