More cruising and less cleaning with A Glaze

When you think about the boating lifestyle, cleaning doesn’t exactly rate high on the list of the joys of boat ownership. So A Glaze Marine has some welcome news for those who would like to enjoy more time cruising and less time cleaning.

A Glaze has been proven around the world to protect luxury motor cruisers and yachts with an invisible film that means you can clean away salt, grime, soot and marine soling with a quick hose down.

For compelling evidence of the performance of A Glaze, one only has to look to the skies. Boeing uses and recommends A Glaze for use on its aircraft, with major airlines claiming it reduces cleaning time from four hours to around one hour. At the same time, the more slippery surface reduces drag resulting in significant fuel savings. Meanwhile back at Sea Level, Sunseeker has independently tested and recommends A Glaze, while Fairline has also tested it, approves it and fully recommend A Glaze to owners at factory level.

So what exactly does A Glaze do? It is firstly applied to all topside surfaces. Specific formulations are used on particular materials including gel coat, stainless steel, teak and canvas overs, inside and outside your boat. Each A Glaze treatment product has been formulated to adhere to each material and form an invisible barrier to protect it from UV rays and the ravages of harsh marine environments.

Since correct application of A Glaze is critical to its success, A Glaze has appointed SBM Service in Sydney as its official Sydney application partners. Application of A Glaze may be combined with a routine servicing operation or antifouling, ensuring minimal time out of the water.

Then A Glaze offers protection for up to a year. So after your day’s cruising, simply give the boat a good hose down. You’ll be amazed at how easily grime and residue from a day’s cruising washes way, leaving that just-detailed finish on your boat.

For proof of how good it looks, you could wait until the London Boat Show. Or better still see the boat on display at SBM Maritimo at the Spit, Mosman...
