Blades of glory for new Quintrex Spirit

'There's noticeably more freeboard and cabin space in the new 610 Spirit'    Telwater Pty Ltd

At its mid-year dealer conference Quintrex made a big splash with the announcement of its new Millennium Blade Hull for boats above six metres, but only now is the impact really filtering down to dealer level.

In some way it’s as significant as the Millennium series in 2000, as the Blade hulls plane more easily and run with less drag and better trim response. There’s increased deadrise and a sharper, more relaxed bow entry.

The re-released 610 Spirit takes full advantage of the technology as the benefits are more apparent in the smaller sizes.

Whether it’s taking the family for a day out or going on an overnight stake out for the perfect catch, the 610 Spirit will move you.

The new model also features a fresh cabin shape that’s taller and longer, with walk-through access to the anchor well, large cabin windows and new rocket launcher. The optional bunk infill cushion will let you make a night of it on occasions.

The neat soft-touch mouldings are a huge aesthetic improvement -  Telwater Pty Ltd

Moulded panels with a soft-touch finish give the new internal fit-out a modern and practical look. There’s seating for up to eight people, making it an excellent entertainer and family cruising boat.

Option it up with a live bait tank and extra road holders and it becomes a potent offshore fishing machine, fuelled by a 120-litre fuel tank.

The 610 also features hydraulic steering, telescopic rear ladder, pole mount insert and Mark 5X Fish finder.
