Sail-World.com : Melbourne Show a winner for Chaparral

Melbourne Show a winner for Chaparral

Chaparral Boats debut at the Melbourne Boat Show was a stunning success according to Chaparral Australia’s Scott O’Hare.

'We go into these shows with a view towards introducing the brand to new buyers, supporting our dealers with sales and enjoy providing a 'go to' point for our existing owners to socialise and show off the brand to their mates. On all counts Melbourne exceeded our expectations.'

With five new models on display that had never been shown in Melbourne, Chaparral dealers have sold or taken orders for 10 new boats, surprisingly three of these were over 30 feet.

'I think it shows that with the right product and competitive pricing, sales can be achieved even with the quiet market conditions we are currently experiencing,' says Mr O’Hare. 'People want quality and they want to know they will have after sales service & back up after they purchase. Our dealers couldn’t be happier, there are still a number of prospective buyers to follow up and Chaparral as a brand has had excellent exposure and recognition from its involvement in the show.'

Made in the US, Chaparrel is known for manufacturing award winning sports boats for over 45 years and have a solid reputation worldwide for quality innovation and performance.

At Sydney International Boat Show, Scott will host the Official World Release of the new Chaparral 225 Sports Cabin unveiling it Thursday 28 July, Hall Stand 203. 'This will be the first launch of a new model outside the states, which is phenomenal and we're very proud to be entrusted with this occasion,' says Mr O'Hare.
