Australia’s largest luxury boat builder, Riviera, has completed the hull lay-up on the fourth of its flagship Riviera 70 models in the week that the first 70 left for its new home in Vanuatu.

With five of these giant cruisers on order, the company has devoted a special building to the construction of these magnificent cruisers.

The company has also reported continuing strong demand for many of its models, with 15 orders for its new 43 Offshore Express and demand for the 45 Open Flybridge and award-winning 4400 Sport Yacht taking delivery out to July of next year.

The company will launch its exciting new 5800 Sport Yacht at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May next year with orders already placed for eight of these luxury boats already committing production out to May 2010.

Riviera CEO John Anderson said: “Even in a challenging market, Riviera is the big boat brand of choice. There is a flight to quality in today’s market and the many years we have invested in improving our systems and processes as well as design and finish are proving this. People trust Riviera and depend on our unique 24/7 owner support and service network.“

Mr Anderson said the company is well positioned to weather current worldwide economic turbulence and to take advantage of the inevitable market upturn.

“We are focussed on developing new models that will excite the luxury boating market and to bring them to market as scheduled,” he said. “Our R Marine retail network continues to provide our customers with the best knowledge and after-sales care in the business.”
