The Gold Coast-based manufacturer has introduced a range of value-added products and services for all who purchased a boat at or as a result of the show, including free fuel, free marina berths, free servicing, detailing and insurance.

The innovative plan is described by general manager Chris Heaton as 'a new direction.'

Mustang believes the new direction will assist potential owners to upgrade or become boating enthusiasts for the first time.

The free marina berths will only be available at the marina where authorised Mustang dealers are based and will be free to a purchaser for 6 months.

Servicing, detailing and insurance will all be free to the buyer for 12 months.

Free fuel for 12 months had been based on the average use of 90-hours, based on the fuel usage of the particular vessel purchased.

According to Mustang, the new product has been well received, with dealers in particular excited at having additional 'ammunition.'

Heaton said the company boasted a ‘dynamic and dedicated’ team of professionals committed to the new direction.

'The first step has been to assist our dealers with factory-backed incentives to introduce new owners to the brand,' he explained.

'Our production team continues to review and enhance our design and development processes.

'Stage 2 of our new direction will focus on our new models, the 43 Sport Coupe, scheduled for release in December and the stunning 56 Flybridge due to be unveiled early in ’09.

'Both will feature our legacy of exceptional sea-keeping, excellent fuel economy and value for money,' he added.
