Rushton Gregory Communications, a marketing communications agency that specializes in the automotive, consumer electronics, luxury, marine, outdoor, power and wireless markets, announced today the latest addition to its growing client list, Newport Exhibition Group. Under the terms of the agreement, Rushton Gregory will lead public relations efforts for the Newport International Boat Show and Providence Boat Show with a focus on broadening media exposure and increasing awareness.
A subsidiary of Newport Harbor Corporation, Newport Exhibition Group specializes in trade and consumer show production. The Newport International Boat Show, held annually in September, is one of the largest in-water boat shows in the country — covering over 13 acres along America’s Cup Avenue in the luxurious setting of Newport, Rhode Island.
Hosting over 750 domestic and international exhibitors, the show features new sailboats and powerboats, plus thousands of products and services. The Providence Boat Show, located in downtown Providence, Rhode Island, is the largest winter boat show in Southeastern New England and the first show of the year in the region. Taking place each January, the event hosts thousands of visitors throughout New England who attend to see new gear for the boating and fishing season, participate in show activities and attend educational seminars.
