PowerBoat-World Canada announces Founding Editor

'David McPhail, Editor, Powerboat World Canada'    .
Elizabeth A Kerr, President of Kerrwil Publications Limited, publishers of Boating Industry Canada, Canadian Yachting, Sail-World Canada and most recently, PowerBoat-World Canada, announced David McPhail as Editor for PowerBoat-World Canada.

Canadian Yachting has been actively working with David and Sharon McPhail, from Boatcan.com, partnering to create a Canadian marine marketing plan when the opportunity to work with the largest international online powerboat news network, PowerBoat-world.com appeared on the horizon. There was an obvious fit for both Boatcan and the Kerrwil team.

On accepting the role, David stated, 'this is a great opportunity to be involved in an even better way to bring Canadian power boat experiences to a much larger audience of appreciative mariners both in Canada and abroad.'

David has lived on the shores of Lake Huron and the St. Clair River his entire life and along with his wife Sharon they have both been avid power boaters for years. His knowledge of boats and experiences both in practical experience and at committee levels allows David to bring a wide perspective of interests to the PBWC Newsletter.

He has been a contributor to numerous publications and his textbook writing background, his work on creating the Boatcan website and all that it provides boaters will serve immeasurably to the success of the PBWC Newsletter.

When not boating or travelling with Sharon and their dog Mukluk, David can be found volunteering with worthy groups and associations and trying to promote the thrill and excitement that boating experiences can bring to more and more people everywhere.
