Starting gun fires for Rivergate International Boat Show
|
We’re off and racing! The first day of the Rivergate International Boat Show has been an outstanding success. Even on a working day, the crowds flowed through the gates to experience beautiful boats, jazzy jetskis, innovative technology, heaps of boating accessories, fishing equipment, fabulous food and fun for the kids. Whether you interested in a tinnie or a luxury cruiser, pontoon boats, trailers, inflatables, game fishing equipment, diving or learn to sail courses, or just a fun day out, then head to Rivergate Marina at Murarrie. Don’t miss your chance to win a luxury holiday for two on beautiful Borocay in the Philippines compliments of Philippines Airlines and All About Asia. Or maybe you prefer to win 1 of 8 PADI Open Water Diving Courses with Dive World, when you visit their site at the Boat Show. This weekend there will be demonstrations and information sessions in the Exhibition Hall and around the site. Visit the 24 metre Queensland Police Service vessel, see the exciting Jet Pak man take off from the marina, or watch the iconic Kookaburra Queen come down the river accompanied by a fleet of jetskis. Australian Catering Services is open all weekend in the Food court for great food and a coldie! There’s also a variety of other gourmet food to savour. The kids can burn off some energy in the giant jumping castle, or enjoy face painting and other activities. There’s something for everyone at the Rivergate International Boat Show, Friday 5 to Sunday 7 October 9am to 5pm, Rivergate Marina and Shipyard Queensport Road North Murarrie. Come by car or catch the ferry from Brett’s Wharf, Hamilton but don’t miss Brisbane’s best in boating at the inaugural Rivergate International Boat Show. More at www.rivergateboatshow.com.au
