Rosehill Gardens, the only place for boating enthusiasts over the weekend of February 22-24.

More than 40 of the State’s top marine dealers have committed for the 2008 Rosehill Gardens Boat Show, opening on Friday, February 22 and continuing through that weekend.
It may be small when compared to the Sydney International Boat Show, but Rosehill Gardens, now in its seventh year, is no less important.
Cleverly marketed by organisers, the Boating Industry Association of NSW (BIA NSW) as a ‘summer clearance show’, Rosehill Gardens has become renowned among Sydney’s boating enthusiasts as “the place” to pick up a bargain, be it a boat, fishing tackle, electronics or general boating accessories.
Once known as The Great Silverwater Boat Show and staged on the banks of the Parramatta River at nearby Silverwater, the show has increased in popularity since moving to the modern, undercover facility at Rosehill.

“We believe Rosehill has been targeted by marine dealers as the ideal time and place to clear their decks for new products and consumers have certainly recognised it as the prime opportunity to do a deal,” Domenic Genua, marketing and event manager for the BIA NSW explained.
“Ample free parking and a location easily accessed from all parts of Sydney add to the show’s appeal,” he added.
