Northstar's New 310 Instrument Series

'Northstar 310 Series'
The new Northstar 310 Instrument Series combines advanced digital marine technology with simple installation to make fitting out a boat easier than ever.

Designed for both power and sail boats and featuring upgraded software, the 310 Series has undergone extensive validation to ensure maximum accuracy and durability for years of solid performance.

The Northstar 310 Series comprises six superbly-engineered instruments – wind, speed and depth, as well as repeater and multi-function instruments.

Big, bold, 38mm digits that can be read at a glance in all conditions make Northstar’s wide-angle monochrome displays perfect for all marine applications. There’s also an analogue wind gauge for those who prefer the more traditional look of wind instruments.

With the ability to be fully integrated in any vessel via Northstar’s high-speed NavBus, or the NMEA 0183 data-sharing network, the easy-to-use 310 Series offers boaters the flexibility to build systems that best suit their specific requirements.

The NavBus junction box further simplifies instrument installation, making it easy to connect several identical NavBus instruments to a single transducer, or cluster up to four instruments wired to one NavBus box. There’s also the option to daisy chain multiple boxes together to build a bigger system.

Installing the 310 Series instruments at the helm is as simple as drilling a 50mm diameter hole in the bulkhead, placing the instrument in the hole and tightening the screw-thread locking nut. There’s no need to drill templates and the built-in over-moulding creates a waterproof fascia without the need for sealants.
