Multihull Solutions celebrates sales at SCIBS -best multihull show
|
Speaking on the third day of the 2012 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, Mark Elkington MD at Multihull Solutions was pleased with the level of attendance, interest and sales leads, as well as acknowledging SCIBS as Australia's 'best show for multihulls'. 'We have the space here to demonstrate what multihull cruising is all about, and bring a wide range of boats. Sanctuary Cove is the number one show for multihulls. There's plenty of room for our competitors, which is good for comparison and that's good for our segment.' Multihull Solutions is hosting the official Southern Hemisphere launch of the magnificent carbon infused, new Catana 47 and the Australasian launch of the all-new 2012 Fountaine Pajot Salina 48 Evolution. Mark says both boats have been well received and the company has already signed contracts for three boats - subject to trials and some value-adds. 'We are very happy with the quality of people and the numbers through. Our target was three new and three pre-owned and we have sold three so far - a Fontaine Pajot 40, Orana 44 and Salina 48 - with two days to go.' Also pleasing, according to Mark, is the number of interstate and international attendees. 'We have noticed a lot more people from New Zealand, heaps of families from WA and New South Wales.' Next on the show schedule is Sydney in August, Auckland in September, then owner events in The Whitsundays, before Mandurah in October. More at www.multihullsolutions.com.au
