World leader in marine equipment, Lewmar, has launched the V6 and V8 Anchor Windlasses. Designed for all boats from 55ft to 120ft. These all Stainless steel Windlasses represent a new standard of performance and deck presence for the première builder.
The V6 Vertical Windlass is available as Gypsy only and Gypsy Drum in Left Hand and Right hand configuration and complements the existing V range. A host of features including 24v, Hydraulic, a wide range of gypsies, stainless steel W.A.R.P (Wear and Abrasion Resistant Pattern) drum and a Cone Clutch for smooth, easy control.
The new V8 Vertical Windlass is a true Super yacht windlass. The centre shaft has a support structure built to withstand high loads for larger vessels up to 120 feet. The V8 gypsy is driven by a solid dog-drive that can be easily disconnected for controlled anchor decent via a band break.
The band brake can be operated with a winch handle or remotely by Hand wheel. The V8's is available in many options including gypsy drum and gypsy only both in Left Hand and Right hand configuration and a full range of power options include AC, DC and hydraulic.
