The home standing Qatar Team led by reigning World Champion Jay Price can breath again, they've received their race boats. They cleared customs and were sent across the bay to race headquarters on the west bank of downtown Doha last evening and with a flurry of activity got the tent set up as well as quick workings for the mechanical bits and boat preparation in order to make a serious bid for a Grand Prix win later this afternoon for today's Sixth Grand Prix of Qatar.

'It was touch and go for awhile,' stated the World Champion. 'I was proud of our crew as they worked all evening making up for lost time getting everything prepared for today's race. We were actually two days behind and now we are catching up in a hurry. Hopefully I can put together a good result today to make the boys hard work last night worthwhile.'

It is a critical time in the championship for the Qatar Team as their driver is fourth in the drivers chase but knowing they still have six races to run have a solid chance for back to back titles before it's all over. Consistency will be the major phrase for everyone on the team because they have only finished four of the nine race starts with a pair of victories along with two runner-up second places for 70 points.

Eighteen of the worlds greatest talents on water are here for the start of back to back days and the 11th and 12th rounds of the championship of the U.I.M. F1 H2O World Championship for power boating and the Sixth Grand Prix of Qatar at 15:00 local, 13:00 GMT and 07:00 Eastern Standard Time for the East Coast of North America.

The race can be followed live by going to the official website www.f1h2o.com with the pre-race television broadcast beginning at 14:45 local time.
