Boating brokerage leads with a hand-picked team

A passionate, dedicated team is the driving force behind the success of the fairly new Ensign Ship Brokers brand.

The Gold Coast based company has been operating for thirty years with founders dedicated to steer focus towards customer satisfaction. The brokerage not only sells new and used boats, but also boasts a well established racing team as part of the business, an initiative which has achieved the goal of customer involvement.

Managing Director Tony Ross enforces the company goal of customer satisfaction, and believes that this morale has amplified corporate growth.

'We’re here to run a business but its about proving that there is a better way for this industry to operate, we want to incorporate a really good buying experience in the process of buying a yacht,' he said.

'If you meet the guys they truly are living and breathing the industry, they want to share that with people.'

Under the Ensign umbrella are world-renowned brands Beneteau, Bavaria and McConaghy yachts among others.

Tony reported uplifting results from this year’s Boat Show, and is quietly optimistic about the year to come with new offices in the pipeline for the East Coast.

'The show’s been remarkably quite buoyant, people have been very clear with what they want to do.' He said.

Ensign is well on the way to achieving the outcome of a global company within the next five years.
